I watched the Oscar's last night. I love the Oscar's, I can't help it, the dresses, the weepy acceptance speeches, seeing Brangelina slum with the little people of the world. Most years I have seen a few of the nominated films because I dig long, boring movies that are usually nothing more than long, boring character studies...that's just the way that I roll.
So anyway, my sisters and I filled out ballots on who we thought would win. I did not fare too well: 6 correct out of 24 categories. Kimberly did much, much better. However, she. watched. EVERY. nominated. movie (well, except the short films and short animated films). As we started discussing my failure, I made the declaration that I hadn't seen any of the nominated movies last year. Kimberly pointed out that I actually had seen 2 of them.
