Remember that toy you had as a child that seemed alive to you and felt kind of like a family member?
Well, Fletch-man has Leppy.
Grandma Bonnie bought Leppy for him over the summer on a trip to the zoo (where they saw real live snow leopards!) and I have heard countless stories about Leppy since. Leppy has aquired her (she is unwaveringly a girl) own blanket, collar, even chewy toys since she has come to live with us.
And the unthinkable happened.
Lola, the Puggle (as the fellas like to call her) got a hold of her and gnawed her nose right off and left a gaping hole in its place. Fletch was devestated...he said through his tears "she was such a nice kitty, she was so good and sweet".
This broke my heart, Yet I have no skill set, except shopping skills, but the Binder Park Zoo is closed in the winter so we couldn't find a replacement.
Luckily, we have Grandmas Bonnie in our corner. She heard the story (complete with tears because I told it in front of Fletch and it made him cry, I swear I'm not always that heartless).
She thought about it for about two and a half seconds, asked for some embroidery thread and fixed him up...just like that. It was genuine joy from Fletcher and he has been carrying her around ever since. (Thanks again, Grandma Bonnie)
This was also at the museum, I kind of thought they should use it for thier album cover, if they ever release an album:
Have a wonderful day:)

If I am not mistaken all of us children have slept in the cradle too! I can't wait to snuggle my boys (well three of them Fletch refuses to snuggle with me unless he is tired.) Only a little less than 2 weeks away!
Awww - so glad that Leppy is fixed as good as new! :)
